10 European Clubs That Won Their League Title This Season

The 2018/2019 European football season is over. It was a memorable season, with great performances from many clubs.

The season began with many teams jostling for their respective league crowns. After so many matches, the season has ended, and some teams were able to emerge victorious.

The top European clubs were able to lift their respective league titles in their countries. Let’s find out which teams won their leagues in ten European countries.

1. Manchester City – England

Pep Guardiola’s men successfully retained their Premier League crown with 98 points in the League, after overcoming Liverpool by just a solo point.

2. Barcelona – Spain

Barcelona became the La Liga Champions for the eighth time in eleven seasons. It was a tremendous season for the Catalan giants as they won the league with 87 points after 38 games.

3. Juventus – Italy

The Italian giants were once again crowned champions of Italy as they won the tournament again. Allegri’s side had an impressive season and won the league title with many games left to spare.

4. Bayern Munich – Germany

Bayern Munich secured another consecutive Bundesliga title after edging out Dortmund in the final round of the season.

5. Paris St. Germain – France

The French club easily and astonishingly claimed the Ligue One this season. They won the l5with many games left to spare.

6. Benfica – Portugal

The Eagles won the Portuguese Primeira Liga with 87 points in 34 games. They also scored a staggering 103 goals in their league campaign.

7. Ajax – Netherlands

Ajax finished the league as champions of the Eredivisie. The young Ajax side won with 86 points in 34 games, three points above closest rivals PSV Eindhoven.

8. Genk – Belgium

The Belgian Jupiler League First Division A was wondering by Genk, which was their fourth championship title.

9. Celtic – Scotland

Celtic won the Scottish league championship for the 50th time in 2018–19; it was also their eighth consecutive championship.

10. PAOK Thessaloniki FC – Greece

PAOK lifted the 2018/19 Super League Greece title. PAOK won their third championship and their first one in 34 years.
