Will Krzysztof Piatek be the Player Who Brings AC Milan back to the Champions League

Krzysztof Piatek arrived at Genoa last summer for a small fee of just €4m from relatively known Polish club Cracovia. His impact in the Serie A was sudden, yet fantastic. Piatek surprised the Italian League by scoring 13 times in 19 games for Genoa.
It didn’t come as a surprise when many top European teams started coming for his signature. This came after Gonzalo Higuain ended his loan spell at AC Milan earlier than expected in order to complete a move to Chelsea from Juventus on Wednesday. Milan signed the new deadly young striker in Piatek for a reported fee of €35m.
Speaking at his press conference as a Milan player, the 23-year-old admitted he has always supported the Rossoneri as a boy and his desire to score in every game. He also said he would do everything he could to aid AC Milan return into the Champions League, and expressed his desire to play in the prestigious European tournament. However, Can he be the player who will bring AC Milan back to the elite European competition?
AC Milan has been thoroughly disappointing in recent years. The seven-time European winners have not participated in Europe’s biggest club competition since the year 2014 and even recently crashed out to the Europa League in the group stages.
AC Milan boss, Gennaro Gattuso has often faulted the attitude of his players. However, in Krzysztof Piatek, he has a player with the right attitude to succeed. Krzysztof Piatek is a real winner and has the mental toughness most star players in Milan lack. Milan has fallen short of players who take the bull by the horn, Players like Kaka, Shevchenlove and Inzaghi.
Over the recent years, many strikers have flopped at AC Milan the likes of Pato, Balotelli, Matri, Fernando Torres, Mattia Destro, Luiz Adriano, Gianluca Lapadula, André Silva and Gonzalo Higuain all lacked the right winning mentality of a true Rossoneri frontman.
Piatek will certainly add value to this Milan team and his impeccable goal scoring will propel them to greater heights.
