Goals are required to win games, and those goals typically come from the forwards. Teams with good attackers and goalscorers usually have an effective attacking unit. This season, the teams with the best-attacking trios are leading the table in their respective leagues, and their players are in the top scorers and top assisters chart.
Here are the top 5 attacking trios in football this season.
5. Pepe, Bamba, and Leao – Lille
This season Lille’s attackers have been in amazing form. All their attackers are being sought after by many top European clubs. They have been scoring and assisting for fun in the French Ligue One. Currently, the trio has scored over 30 goals collectively.
4. Reus, Alcacer, and Sancho – Borussia Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund has been so tremendous this season, and that is due to the performances of their potent attacking trio. The club captain, Marco Reus has been excellent this season and has also been very consistent in scoring goals or providing assists.
