One of this weekend’s main fixtures will be in Serie A, where league leaders Juventus take on AC Milan who is chasing Champions League football next year.

A win for Juventus will mean they have taken a huge step towards securing the title while a win for AC Milan would help to secure their top four position. We expect the game to be a fascinating affair.

Here’s the match preview of Juventus vs. AC Milan.

Juventus

This, season Juventus have a record of 26 wins, three draws and just one defeat from 30 league matches. There are without their superstar Cristiano Ronaldo who is out with injury. In Ronaldo’s absence,  19-year-old striker Moise Kean has stepped up to the mantle and scored four goals in his last four league games.

Juventus have also not lost to AC Milan in the Serie A since October 2016. Juventus have a crucial match against Ajax next week in the Champions League, so they will probably rest players.

Paulo Dybala is a slight doubt through an injury. However, Mario Mandzukic should be available after he missed the last game due to illness.

AC Milan

AC Milan needs all the points they can get from this game. Gennaro Gattuso’s side lost two crucial games against Inter Milan and Sampdoria before being held to a 1-1 draw at home to Udinese on Tuesday night.

Milan is still fourth in the table, but a loss would risk their hopes of securing a Champions League place. It is interesting to know that Milan have not beaten Juve in an away league match since March 2011, so they will face a daunting task at Turin.

Milan will be without both Gianluigi Donnarumma and Lucas Paqueta after they picked up an injury against Udinese. Pepe Reina is expected to play in this match.
