Paris Saint-Germain host Manchester United at the Parc des Princes in the second leg of the Uefa Champions League last 16 on Wednesday night, with qualification to the quarterfinals in sight.

Thomas Tuchel’s side secured a 2-0 win over Manchester United in the first leg at Old Trafford. In doing so, they become the first French club to defeat the Red Devils at their own back yard.

Manchester United

For this second leg game, Manchester United playmaker Paul Pogba and winger Anthony Martial will miss out on the big game.

Pogba is suspended after he was shown a red card in the 2-0 first-leg defeat at Old Trafford while Martial will miss out due to a hamstring injury. Manchester United also has several other injury concerns ahead of the match. The loss to PSG is The Red Devil’s only loss since he was appointed an interim manager in December.

Although Manchester faces a near-impossible task of overturning a 2-0 deficit, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is very optimistic. A win by a wide margin will mean that they advance to the quarter-finals for the first time since the 2013/14 season.

Paris St. Germain

PSG have been in top form on the UEFA Champions League. Two assists from former Manchester United player, Angel Di Maria provided the goals that defeated United.

PSG have no major injury issues, Edinson Cavani has resumed training for PSG after missing the last seven matches due to a hip injury.

However, Neymar is out for the French champions and will miss the tie. Kylian Mbappè will be looking to get another goal against the English side.
