The painful part of the Premier League is to be relegated out. No club will be happy to leave the most prestigious English League.

However, relegation is inevitable, and there are teams which will definitely have to be demoted to the lower division. The upcoming football matches in the Premier League will determine which teams will be relegated.

With just seven or eight games remaining in the 2018/19 Premier League season, the race to avoid relegation is beginning to get more heated.

Teams like Huddersfield and Fulham are not mathematically relegated, but for now, it looks as if they will be joined by one other Premier league team.

Today we will attempt to predict the three Premier League teams that will be relegated at the end of the 2018/2019 season.

3. Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield Town was promoted to the Premier League last season and is looking like it will return back to the Championship.

Jan Siewert’s men will need to win as much matches as they can if they are to avoid the drop zone. However, it will be a near impossible task right now. They currently have 14 points from 31 matches and will still face Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspurs in their upcoming football matches this season.

2. Fulham

It will be realistic to say that Fulham is already as good as relegated. It would take a major miracle for Scott Parker to finish the rest of the season strongly and keep Fulham still in the top division. There’s no impossible in football, but it feels implausible that Fulham will avoid relegation this season.

Fulham’s upcoming football matches are not easy at all; they have to play both Manchester City and face daunting away trips to both Watford and Wolves.

1. Burnley

Burnley is currently 17th in the Premier League table and is not in the drop zone. They are above Cardiff City, who is 18th in the table. However, they have already played 31 matches and have 30 points. Cardiff, on the other hand, has 28 points from 30 matches. However, Burnley is more likely to be relegated because their upcoming football matches are against stiffer oppositions.

They are many daunting fixtures against Wolves, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Arsenal. They will also play against a fellow relegation candidate – Cardiff.
