Hugo Lloris confident of Barcelona scalp

Hugo Lloris says he fully believes Tottenham can silence Lionel Messi and overcome Barcelona in their must-win Champions League clash at the Nou Camp on Tuesday night.
The north London outfit have been preparing in Spain for the last few days as they try to pull off a shock win.
Mauricio Pochettino’s troops must get the three points to guarantee their place in the last-16 of the Champions League. Spurs have won four of their last five matches coming into the game but they will need to improve to stop Messi.
Messi has scored 17 goals in as many games this season but he may still be rested with Barcelona having already secured top spot in Group B.
Lloris refused to be fazed by the Argentine’s scoring record and he believes his team can win, even if they have to take on Messi. “I think it is always a special game to play against Barcelona at the Nou Camp.
It is a special place, it is true we will be playing against one of the best players in history,” he said.
“It will not be easy but I think the most important thing is to believe in our chance to go through. We will play 100 per cent with the belief that we can do it.
“I think it is difficult to stop a player like Leo Messi but if we can do it is only as a team. We will need a strong performance, individually obviously, but mainly as a team.”
Barcelona are 1.91 favourites for the contest, with the draw 4.00, while Spurs are 3.50 outsiders.
