Real Madrid’s 2018/2019 season started very well, they had successfully retained their Champions League crown last year and were looking to do better this season.

However, they had to do it without their talisman Cristiano Ronaldo and mercurial coach Zinedine Zidane.

The season has become an absolute failure so far; they have crashed out of the Champ League and Copa Del Rey. They also suffered back to back losses to Barcelona at the Bernabeu. They have had so many shocking losses this season.

However, it is possible for Madrid to pick itself up and get back to winning ways. How can Madrid Improve next season? Let’s find out.

1. Sign an experienced coach

Julen Lopetegui was signed last summer to coach Real Madrid but was sacked after some months and replaced by Santiago Solari. Solari was named as the coach, with little experience in coaching. As expected, he flopped.

Many available coaches can replace Solari at the Bernabeu. However, they shouldn’t make the mistake of hiring a newbie manager. An experienced coach with a string pedigree should be called to manage the Los Blancos.

2. Sign some galácticos

Galácticos can be described as expensive, famous Real Madrid football players. It literally means superstars. Madrid president made it a habit if signing a galáctico every summer. Needless to say, he hasn’t really brought in any superstar to Real Madrid in a while.

Everyone thought that Perez would sign a superstar after Cristiano Ronaldo left the club, but that never happened. If Real Madrid is to improve next season, they need to sign a superstar. They have been linked to Eden Hazard, Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappè in recent times, it would be great if they bought one them.

3. Remove the old legs

Many Real Madrid players are past their prime and have nothing to offer anymore. Sergio Ramos isn’t fit to be Real Madrid captain, Marcelo is now out of form, Benzema isn’t consistent, and Bale hasn’t delivered at Madrid.

Instead of holding on to such players, Madrid should let them go and bring in fresher legs.

After a disastrous season, Madrid can get better. What do you think they can do to get better?
