How Madrid Could Line Up with Eden Hazard

1. The left wing in a 4-3-3 formation

Hazard is certainly the perfect fit for Zidane’s new Madrid side, and he would be the right replacement for Ronaldo on the left-hand side of the attack. Vinicius Jnr. and Marcos Asensio both played that position after Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure. However, it was Vinicius who convinced there.

The Brazilian winter will have to give way for Hazard, who will definitely like to play there. The left wing is Hazard’s favored and most suitable position, as it will allow the 28-year-old to cut inside on to his preferred right foot.

2. Behind the strikers in a 4-3-1-2 formation

Madrid has also completed the signing of 21-year-old Serbian striker, Luka Jovic. Jovic is expected to link up with Karim Benzema, and potentially form a lethal striking partnership. Zinedine Zidane will be excited to have both Benzema and Jovic upfront, but his attack will be better with Hazard playing behind the strikers.

He will play as a playmaker and be allowed to roam freely around the attacking third.

3. Left midfielder in a 4-2-3-1 formation

Hazard can also slot in as a midfielder on the left-hand side of a 4-2-3-1 formation. He will be tasked to create play from midfield while utilizing the wings. He can also cut inside and join the central midfield. If Madrid signs Christian Eriksen, he would be in the attacking midfield position, while Vinicius Jnr. will be on the right side of the attack.
