Filip Benkovic says Celtic have no intention of playing for a draw when they entertain Red Bull Salzburg in the final round of Europa League group stage fixtures.

Salzburg have already secured a spot in the knockout phase as Group B winners having won all five of their games so far.

The Glasgow outfit will progress to the next stage of the tournament if RB Leipzig fail to beat Rosenborg at home and need just a point to guarantee a place alongside the Austrians in draw for the last 32, but defender Benkovic is leaving nothing to chance and insists they are targeting all three points.

“We are a team who plays attacking football most of the time so we will do the same in this game as well. It’s not good to only go for a point,” said the 21-year-old, who is on loan from Leicester City.

“This is not our mentality. We want to take three points. For 90 minutes, we must be behind each other.

“We know how they are a good team with good players. We must focus more than 100 per cent for this game and we must believe that we can take a positive result.”

Celtic are 2.50 to beat Salzburg, the visitors can be backed at 2.75 and a draw is 3.40. Celtic to win 1-0 is 11.00 and Scott Sinclair to score first is 10.00 in the PRICE BOOSTS.
