The summer of every year is always an interesting year for football lovers all over the world.

During the summer, all the top league competitions would have ended, and all your favourite players would go on to represent their national teams.

The 2019 summer is going to be an enjoyable one for soccer lovers worldwide because four prestigious tournaments will take place.

Here are the four football tournaments you must watch this summer.

1. FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019 (France)

The FIFA Women’s World Cup is the biggest footballing tournament for women.

This prestigious football tournament for women will be played in summer of 2019. It will begin from the 7th of June and end on 7th of July 2019. Twenty-four teams have qualified from all over the world compete in France this summer. The tournament will feature the United States, the defending champions as well as Germany, France and Brazil women’s national teams.

2. Copa America 2019 (Brazil)

After they played the centennial tournament in 2016, the prestigious South American elite competition will return this summer. The 2019 Copa América will begin from 14th of June and conclude on the 7th of July.

This year’s edition will be the 46th edition of the Copa América, with Chile as defending champions. Brazil will host the tournament and will be joined by 11 other teams including Japan and Qatar.

3. Africa Cup of Nations 2019 (Egypt )

You absolutely have to watch the African football competition in the summer of 2019, and this time it has been expanded to 24 teams. North African giants, Egypt will host the tournament and will be joined by many top footballing countries in Africa. The competition will take place from 15 June to 13 July 2019.

4. CONCACAF Gold Cup 2019 (USA/Costa Rica)

This summer will also feature the major soccer competition of the North Americans take place in 2019. This edition will be the 15th edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup and will be held from 15 June and end on 7th July. This year is also a special CONCACAF edition because it will be hosting 16 teams for the first time. The United States and Costa Rica will co-host the tournament this summer.
