Wolves made life difficult for Maurizio Sarri’s side in Sunday’s game in southwest London.

Raul Jimenez scored the game’s first goal with the visitors’ only shot on target, in the 56th minute, after a heavily-deflected strike crossed past the line.

Chelsea toiled hard to get a goal back and was up against a resilient Wolves’ defense. They eventually found an equalizer through Hazard’s long-range shot in injury time to secure a vital point.

After the draw, Wolves now have a one-point lead over Watford in seventh place. Chelsea remains in sixth place after having ended their three-game winning streak.

Chelsea suffered a setback in their top four races and will have to improve significantly. Here are hot talking points from Chelsea vs. Wolves.

1. Hazard is Chelsea’s only star player

Chelsea has competent players in their team, but it was evident that Eden Hazard is the one standout player at the Blues. The Belgian showed his importance to Chelsea after scoring a brilliant long-range strike that salvaged a point for Chelsea against Wolves.

Higuain hasn’t shown his quality since he was brought in during the January transfer window. This game showed us that Hazard is Chelsea’s only superstar.

2. Emerson staking claim for the left back position

It wasn’t an easy game against Wolves, but Emerson was impressed.

Emerson successfully toppled Marcos Alonso to become the first team regular, and he continues to show he is a better suited in Sarri’s back four than the Spaniard.

Emerson is excellent in keeping possession like the Spaniard. However, his is more solid defensive and quicker than Alonso. But unlike Alonso, he is not great in the final third. However, with more games, he will further showcase his ability.

3. Wolves could upset Manchester United in the FA Cup

Wolves shockingly eliminated Liverpool from the FA Cup and could spring a surprise against Manchester United. This game against Chelsea showed how good Wolves are tactically.

Diogo Jota and Raul Jimenez are also in good form. They could be the next giant slayers when they face Manchester United in the FA Cup.
