This enthralling season in European football is about to come to an end, and many football clubs have already started making plans ahead of the upcoming transfer window this summer.

The summer transfer window is usually the busiest and most intriguing, that’s because of the curiosity it creates, surprises that could occur and the drama it involves. We expect a lot of exciting transfers to happen as all the top European clubs will be out in the market to look for reinforcements.

Some clubs that didn’t have a great season will desperately need to spend money this summer. Let’s find out those clubs.

1. Manchester United

The Red Devils had an utterly disappointing season. They missed the top four in the Premier League and crashed out of the Champions League and FA Cup in a disgraceful manner. With Ole Gunnar Solksjaer named the permanent coach, he’ll look to spend money on building his squad. They are reports that a fullback, midfielder, and striker are on their radar.

2. Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich has not been entirely impressive this season. They have been accused of having an aging squad. The German club has been terrible in the Champions League, after suffering elimination at the hands of Liverpool they urgently need to sign new players.

Key players like Arjen Robben, Frank Ribery, Manuel Neuer, and Thomas Muller are past their prime. Thus, Bayern will need to make significant signings to reinforce their squad.

3. Real Madrid

Real Madrid is a club known for spending huge amounts of money during the transfer window. They will obviously do that now, especially when they have endured a disappointing season. The Los Blancos ended the season trophyless and humiliated.  Now, with Zidane returning as coach, Real Madrid will look to make notable signings in order to bolster their squad ahead of next season.
