The 2018/2019 season of European football is already halfway done. So far in this football season, we have seen many exciting, and controversial matches played already. We have also seen many spectacular goals scored and many thrilling performances. Another thing, we have also seen is hard tackles. Hard tackles are part of the beautiful game of football. However, the wrong type of tackle could get a player cautioned or even sent off.
Today we’ll see a list of 5 players who have had the most cautions and red cards so far this season. These are the most aggressive football players in the 2018/2019 season.
- Álvaro González
Álvaro González is a veteran Spanish central midfielder. He plays for Villarreal in the Spanish La Liga. The 29-year-old has earned a reputation for picking up yellow cards and red cards at will.
- Mario Gaspar Pérez
Mario Gaspar is yet another Spanish footballer for Villarreal CF. He plays as a right back. He has spent his entire career at Villarreal, making over 300 official appearances. He is so aggressive that he has been sent off nine times in 300 matches. This season, however, he has seven yellow cards and one red card.
