Manchester United and Barcelona will face off in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League.

It will be a tough encounter between two top European clubs. Barcelona is clearly the favourite going into the game, while Manchester United will be banking on their surprising win over PSG.

Here are three Manchester United players who are capable of hurting Barcelona in the upcoming UEFA Champions League clash.

1. Romelu Lukaku

The big Belgian forward will definitely cause Barcelona problems. In the second leg against Paris St. Germain, Lukaku scored two goals that helped them eliminate the French giants. This season, Lukaku has scored 15 goals in all competitions, even though he has not been a regular starter. His big frame, pace and speed will cause problems for a Barça’s defence.

Lukaku will prove very vital to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans against the Catalan giants.

2. Marcus Rashford

The appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has seen Marcus Rashford’s stock rise. The Norwegian showed so much confidence in Rashford’s ability and made him the focal point of United’s attack. Since his appointment, Marcus Rashford has prospered in his new role.

Rashford showed amazing composure and maturity to slot home the injury-time penalty, which won the tie in very nervy conditions against PSG. Rashford’s speed, agility and trickery will worry Barcelona.

3. David De Gea

The Spanish goalkeeper has been in splendid form for United all season. De Gea will be critical to the Red Devils as they face Barcelona in the Champions League. He has kept so many clean sheets in the Premier League and made a number of important saves in the Champions League.

The Spaniard could hurt Barcelona if he produces a brilliant performance against the Catalan team. Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez will not find it easy to beat the David De Gea in goal. On his day, he is almost unscorable.

De Gea’s agility, quick reflexes and speed will cause problems for Barcelona’s attack.

The first leg of this quarterfinal game will be crucial to both teams.
