Manager Slavisa Jokanovic has urged Fulham’s fans to be patient as his troops try to turn their season around.

The Cottagers made an encouraging start to the campaign, but they have since dropped into the bottom three.

Fulham have lost their last four Premier League games, while they were also dumped out of the EFL Cup on Thursday by Manchester City.

Despite making 12 new signings and spending over £100million, Jokanovic has yet to find the formula but the former Watford coach is refusing to throw in the towel.

His team travel to Huddersfield on Monday and he insists there will be no quick fix at Craven Cottage.

“I cannot complain about the supporters. I know many, many people are around us,” said the Serbian.

“I know how they want us to be successful. I know our target is to do everything to win the game and make them satisfied.

“Miracles don’t exist. We need some kind of time. Time doesn’t exist and we have to accept that we are going to make it immediately some kind of reaction.

“From another side, always in our stadium and away from home games, we feel our people push us and support the team to do a good job.

“At the moment, we didn’t give them enough back but we’re working in this area to make them satisfied.”

Due to their home advantage, Huddersfield are 2.30 favourites for Monday’s encounter. The draw is priced at 3.25, while Jokanovic’s men are available at the same price as they go in search of all three points.
