Santiago Solari says Real Madrid are still fighting on all fronts after they booked their place in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey.

Los Blancos eased their way into the last four after claiming a 3-1 victory over Girona on Thursday, a result that sealed their 7-3 aggregate success.

That triumph means Real remain involved in three competitions, as they will face Ajax when the Champions League knockout stages get underway next month, while they still have an outside chance of winning La Liga, although those hopes are slim as they currently sit 10 points behind leaders Barcelona.

Solari, who took over as manager of Real in October following the sacking of Julen Lopetegui, knows it is important for the club to remain competitive on all fronts and he is convinced he has the squad to do just that.

“We are going to give the fight on all fronts and the players know it more than me, because it is the registered trademark of the club,” Solari told reporters.

“Real Madrid is always there, it’s always waiting for you, that competitive spirit is carried by this team, it’s a team of warriors and winners, our challenge is to keep doing it.”

Real have won four matches in a row across all competitions and they will be looking to keep that impressive run going when they welcome Alaves to the Bernabeu on Sunday.

The reigning European champions are priced at 1.25 to secure all three points from that match, while Alaves, who sit just two places below Real in the standings, are available at 12.00 and the draw is on offer at 6.50.
