We will take a critical look at each of the promoted teams and find out how each of them will fare in Spain’s elite League.

1. Real Mallorca

Real Mallorca has returned to La Liga after six years. They returned in dramatic fashion after overturning a 2-0 loss in their Segunda División playoff final first leg match against Deportivo La Coruña in the Riazor to win 3-0 in the second leg in the Son Moix.

Mallorca will be banking on the veteran midfielder, Salva Sevilla to be in his best form this season.

2. Osasuna

The Pamplona team were the undisputed champions of the Segunda División. They won with an impressive 87 points along the way. Their home stadium the El Sadar stadium, has proven to be an imperious fortress. They had an amazing home record from last season after they went unbeaten at home throughout their campaign. Osasuna secured 19 wins and two draws, at home last season. Even when they faced Barcelona in their home, they drew 2-2.

Osasuna has returned back to La Liga after being away for two years. Their mercurial midfielder Roberto Torres will carry his team on his shoulders throughout the campaign. They already have 5 points from three games this season.

3. Granada

The Andalusian club has quickly bounced back to the La Liga after two years away. They secured automatic promotion to the La Liga Santander after finishing in 2nd position with 79 points.

Granada striker Antonio Puertas has scored two goals already in La Liga and looks poised to help his team with vital goals. They also have the services of Spanish veteran, Roberto Soldado. So far they have one win, one loss and one draw.
