Mexico coach Juan Osorio ready to attack Brazil in Samara

Mexico coach Juan Carlos Osorio insists his team have got to attack Brazil in their World Cup last-16 clash in the Samara Arena on Monday afternoon.
Osorio feels Brazil simply have too many attacking weapons at their disposal for Mexico to try and stifle them for 90 minutes.
Mexico have won six of their 14 match-ups with Brazil since the turn of the century, though they have never scored against the five-time winners in a World Cup finals encounter.
They have won six of their last nine competitive fixtures against Brazil, losing just twice, and Osorio has vowed they’ll set about attacking Tite’s team.
“We won’t sit back and wait, Brazil’s attackers are too good for that to be the right plan. We will stick to our idea of having at least four or five attacking players,” said Osorio.
Mexico stunned 2014 World Cup winners Germany in their opening game in Russia as they recorded a shock 1-0 success.
In that clash they produced an hour of exceptional counter-attacking football, before being forced to cling on as the Germans upped the ante in the closing stages against a tiring opponent.
They also defeated South Korea before slipping to a 3-0 loss against Sweden in their closing group game and taking second spot in Group F.
Mexico’s only previous World Cup win against South American opposition was their 2-0 victory against Ecuador in the group stage in 2002, while they are looking to make the last-eight for the first time since 1986, when they were hosts of the tournament.
Mexico are 7.00 to beat Brazil, who are firm favourites at 1.50 while the draw is priced at 4.00.
