Leicester boss Claude Puel says his side will have to be at the top of their game to get a result at league leaders Liverpool.

The Foxes head into the match seeking to end a three-game losing run but they have performed well against the big teams recently, having claimed wins over Manchester City and Chelsea in December.

Liverpool can extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table to seven points with a victory after Manchester City’s surprise loss at Newcastle on Tuesday.

Liverpool are 1.36 to win the Premier League outright and City are 3.20. Puel is well aware the Reds are the heavy favourites going into the game, but is confident his players are up for the challenge.

“We have to defend with quality and togetherness,” he told reporters.

“Against this team we need to have a good start on the ball. We need to be clever and to play with precision, sometimes on the counter.

“When they lose the ball, they will try strong pressing, and we need to be ready. We have to play under pressure, against strong pressing, and to give a good response.

“Of course, I don’t know what the result will be, but I am confident about our desire and our focus. We have all the ingredients to play a good game.

“We didn’t find the same feeling in other games but in the next three games it will be an opportunity to improve.”

Leicester are 13.00 to secure a win at Anfield or 41.00 to win 2-1, while Jamie Vardy is 12.00 to score the first goal in the PRICE BOOSTS.
