Manchester United is going to do a complete overhaul of the team next season under Ole Gunnar Solskjær and rumours are going strong that the Red Devils are close to secure several young, yet interesting names to their squad.

Reports had suggested that the management of United had already approved a ‘hefty’ budget for Solskjær this summer with major names like Paul Pogba linked with a move to other teams.

During the just concluded season, United had a woeful defense and Solskjær seems keen to improve the defense with new signings.

Based on news reports, the following three players are likely to join United in the June transfer window, with the three names likely to be announced in a couple of weeks.

Daniel James (Swansea)

United are said to be ready to splash £15 million for Daniel Owen James to bring him over from Swansea.  The 21-year-old winger’s departure from United was reported to be confirmed with Swansea themselves agreeing to letting the player leave ‘at full market value’.  In fact, United was reported to have announced a bid for James this week but had decided to hold off the offer as James had just lost his father.

Matthijs De Ligt (Ajax)

Holland international is hot on Manchester United’s shopping list and with Barcelona said to have ‘dropped interest’ over the 19-year-old defender has sparked even more chances that he may end up at Old Trafford.  The youngster has enjoyed a remarkable campaign with Ajax this season and he remained coy when asked about his future, making the transfer to United even more likely.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (Crystal Palace)

Wan-Bissaka remains United’s top target according to news reports.  It is said that United are preparing to lodge a £25million opening bid for the defender which is just 21-years of age.  The transfer of Wan_Bissaka seems imminent as legendary United player Gary Neville had also endorsed United’s pursuit the right back.
