Arsenal has done quite well so far in the Premier League this season.

They have managed to stay in the race for the top four and their European football results have also been decent – as they have managed to remain in the Europa League. This has all been due to the impressive performance shown by the players. Credits should also be given to Arsenal coach Unai Emery. The Spaniard has made so many improvements to the squad and the players have been playing well.

However, not all Arsenal players should take the credit. Here are 3 Arsenal Players that disappointed us this season.

1. Mohammed Elneny

The Egyptian midfielder has not been in great form under the Unai Emery regime. He has just started two games this season for Arsenal and also came off the bench twice. He has hardly impressed this season and has lost his place in the starting XI to Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira.

Unai Emery might choose to offload the Egyptian international in the summer transfer window.

2. Stephan Lichtsteiner

Stephan Lichtsteiner arrived from Juventus to the Emirates last summer. He was bought to add experience and back up to the Gunners defense. However, he never really played well at Arsenal. This was evident in the recent game against Manchester City when Héctor Bellerín was out injured. Lichtsteiner was to fill in for him, and he did a terrible job that day.

The Swiss defender already disappointed us at Arsenal this season. He now plays as a backup option to Arsenal youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

3. Carl Jenkinson

The English right back remained at Arsenal after the departure of the former coach Arsene Wenger. Unai Emery has used him in a couple of matches in all competitions, but the 27-year-old has not yet cemented his place at the Arsenal first team.

Despite being part of the Arsenal squad since 2011, Jenkinson has failed to become the first-team regular and also disappointed us this season.

Even though some Arsenal players disappointed their fans this season, the rest are doing well. Aubameyang, Lacazette, Torreira and Iwobi are on form this season.
